Nicola looked entirely different when she was serious during the National Anthem....made me realise I had never seen her without a big smile.

Also good to see Muhammad has come to terms with missing out on gold in taekwondo....what a pleasant, well spoken man.

I've been off work all week working in the garden with Mrs FLT, with the Olympics in the I-pad. Then a drink in the good weather watching it before coming back in when the sun went down to watch it indoors!

It's been a good games and I've loved watching loads of it.

The Chinese girl had an advantage because she was quite a bit taller I think. Walkden had to get closer leaving herself vulnerable. Hope she gets something from the repechage.

Cho out now. Can't help but feel that without technology some of those body shots would have counted. You can hear them and would have been given before technology got in the way. Judges can over rule, but are unlikely to unless forced.
