Transferring a ban (aka Barton's from England to France) is slightly different to punishing someone for something that happened under a different authority.

He was sent off in a pre season game and the dutch FA applied for the ban* to be transferred to the FA.

Just an example of a player banned under one jurisdiction having it transferred to his own FA.

* He didnt play in Holland so he couldnt have been banned in holland. Its not quite the same as Bartons ban. Plus it was pre season which made it even more ****ed up.

i ncase you missed it suarez was signed by lfc under a ban and ban applied in england

I am looking at 2 or 3 posters who HAVE defended his actions from the off. One did backtrack and has since said suarez should be punished but the other 2 are well away with the fairies.
