Fifa meet at 5. Early reports of an 18 month football ban. 6 months suspended if he undertakes counselling, a $1million fine suspended for 1 year and he will be forced to use a dummy during games.

Yes and no.
If a.n.other football kicked or elbowed someone then it wouldn't have generated this level of attention but had Suarez done it, it may have due to his list of previous misdemeanours. He isn't 'picked' on for being Suarez, it's because he's done, or at least perceived to have done so many wrong things on the football field his whole career that people just don't like him.
Also with kicks and elbows, it is generally much more difficult to know/prove there was intent to harm (or take your frustration out) on your opponent, with a bite it is a clear attack. Late challenges for instance have and will always be part of the game, biting should never be, happens rarely so more shocking when it does. Plus the rolling around afterwards acting the victim and the post match comments are also deplorable.

There are endless elbows and kicks and nasty challenges that are quite clearly and provable as violent conduct. Too many to mention. none of them accumulate penalties.
Lets be honest here, Suarez was a hate figure before he ever came to the PL, not for biting, for the handball. What I laugh at is every lying sack of **** that says they would not have done it or that they would be just as angered if an England player did it, all lies, pathetic lies.
Nothing Suarez does is not something other players do. EXCEPT the bites, and even then when one of your own do it NOT a ****ing word, you can try say it is because he has done it 3 times, but do you hate him any more since he did it again or has it just rekindled that first hate yo felt watching that world cup game. and as for your Evra affair, that is ALL down to one word v the other so.. the bites, yes he brought it upon himself in that respect. Can't argue with that, but lets not beat around the bush, too many of you have posted about how he was such a **** for denying Ghana a goal, but seldom mention they missed the resulting penalty.
I honestly think it's actually kind of pathetic that a gown man can't control himself. Like get a grip Luis for ****'s sake. One can only imagine his Uruguayan Teammates are giving him a harder time than fans.

sad effort do please try at least to make it sound plausible but annoying... you went so overboard your effort was pointless
I added tye dummy bit
I would argue that most elbows and kicks are a direct result of the game's physical nature.
Biting, however, just isn't.
It annoys me that people would still stick up for him. If a Leicester player did that i'd want him out of the door, immediately.
He has added to his fame no doubt.
This world cup will always be remembered as the "Suarez World Cup".
No offence but I hope he gets a year ban.

Would you be bothered if he retired with us?
barton proves prior bad acts do accumulate

I agree but the problem is, he's not sorry (save for any impact it'll have on him personally) and is doing whatever he can to try and get out of trouble. It's the sort of bull **** response you'd expect out of a child....as is biting as it goes.
The guy is as thick as they come, clearly with a moral compass to match.
