Look. In the world of football and professionalism, a bite is outrageous and should be punished severely. In the real world it is a non event. It doesn't come close to FIFAs corruption and bribery, nor peedo saville and rape and murder. Neither will a bite end the Italian players career or even put him out for a few games.
thats a reasonable comment.
I condemn Suarez's actions on the field of play utterly. He should be ashamed of himself.
however those making out that his actions are worse than;
a) footballers convicted of rape
b) footballers taking bribes to throw games
c) footballers stealing people's wives etc
d) tax dodging football people
e) footballers who actually assualt people either at football gorunds or outside (and yes i know exactyl what i am saying here)
f) footballers who burn trainees with cigars
g) footballers who drink and drive and hurt people
the list goes on... the context is this guy is a scummy gobshite who's deliberately gone after an opponent so he's not got the brains of a fly, but he left a mark, he didn't put the guy out of the world cup (the ref did that) he didn't end a career and he hurt nobody bar himself
I reckon a long ban is required internationally. However talking in context the authority (fifa only) has to also hold some of its possible action back to punish the next guy if he does worse.
I think 12 match ban and 12 suspended would be giving him in effect a year ban and holding the second year back.. thus allowing them to punish someone else who actually maims someone in future.
anyone just tlaking balls is fine on thsi website, 99% do that, anyone spouting the crap repreatedly or amking up wild crap are just on the wum and get laughed at.
