Too cocky and careless for his own good sometimes, Szczesny. Might have cost his team qualification from the group to be honest, Greece should be the easiest points in that group.

Yup he seems far too cocky. tTere is confidence and there is cocky and he seems to be the latter.

Not making excuses but Wenger did say that Chensey had back problems towards the end of the season and because we needed him he had to play through the pain. Bit gutted for him today but he is only 21 and in terms of goal keeping he is a baby. Another tough lesson for Chensey today.

Alright, edited this thread and put in the logo. Use this thread to discuss all things Euro's.

Next Game: Russia vs Czech Republic

Tbf Sheza had to commit for the penalty because of idiot defending and he would have got the ball if the Defender hadn't blocked it(Not saying that he's blameless)

Czech Republic: Cech, Gebre Selassie, Kadlec, Hubnik, Sivok, Rezek, Rosicky, Plasil, Pilar, Jiracek, Baros.

Russia: Malafeev, Anyukov, Ignashevich, Zhirkov, Berezutski, Shirokov, Denisov, Zyryanov, Dzagoev, Arshavin, Kerzhakov.

Hope Rosicky does well. His first tournament in six years. Also watch out for Dzagoev, brilliant talent.

I don't think there was anything Szczesny could have done there. It was either take him down or let him score. Seeing how the other goalie saved the penalty, it worked out well. Sheza didn't do well on the first goal though.

Czech Republic vs Russia. People are saying the Czechs aren't as good this year. It certainly looks like their team are going in the wrong direction in terms of quality. I don't know much about these two teams, but I'd predict a Russian win, 1-0 or maybe 2-1 if we're lucky.

Rosicky and Cech are the highlights... and is that Milan Baros? Is he 40 now? wtf.

Hope Arshavin has a brilliant Euro's. Might alert some other clubs who could pay a better transfer fee, than what Zenit are willing to pay. We need Arshavin off our wage bill.
