he wasn't in the earlier days with us - but once the tax situation was understood, and the teams learned to deny him space,
his motivation caved in. Not a good character reference, but the guy has ability.
Sadly towards the end his efforts looked lost and he couldn't do anything right. So - we all seemed to want him to go.

The Czech RB let his man go past so many times it was a joke.

Netherlands 0-1 Denmark at Half Time.

Netherlands are playing beautiful football but aren't working hard enough to win the ball back. They are creating lots of chances, but not putting them away. Reminds me of Arsenal a bit.

Denmark started off showing the Dutch too much respect, but they grew in confidence (probably because the Dutch allowed them too). They took their chance and showed why Stekelenberg is over-rated. I'm disappointed with Eriksen, who has done very little for the Danes. However, Denmark aren't able to play the football that best utilises his skill-set, especially against Holland.

The crew there are loving those RVP vs. Huntelaar transitions after every missed chance.

Podolski missed a great chance... blazed way over the bar. Looks good with the ball at his feet, and quick too...

Podolski has done okay, couple of half chances. He could have had a couple of goals if he'd been picked out quicker. He gets into some really good positions and always looks hungry <ok>

Final score 1-0 Germany... Gomez in the 72 minute with a header. Good win for Germany.

But Portugal should have drawn or even won it in the last 5 minutes.

The Pod didn't do anything to light my fire yesterday. The only reaction he got from me was when he tackled 'a la Song'.

1st game & lots of nerves. I'm sure he will improve :)

Tiago Motta just got hurt chucking himself on the floor. I hope that disgusting diver has to go off, it would be poetic justice for that twat.

Also, does anyone else think Andrea Pirlo looks like David Carradine (RIP)?

Spain not playing without a proper forward. Without a certain Messi, this does not work.
