We should be aiming for at least eleven points from those four games IMO :bandit:

Its a tough run of games. Anything above 5 points is a decent return.

nah its not....

i reckon gerrez has it right on 7/12 points.

spurs have had it bad at anfield for years and everton have been bad... rank in fact this year and have had it bad v lfc for years.... southmapton is imponderable. they should beat lfc but recently... well they've not been so good have they. that one will be hard to call... and city coming to anfield... well they should win as a top team shoudln't they.

Bar Dave i dont recall anyone wanting Bale.

Us getting Bale is the stuff of a fantasy world.

Fixed and Dave was experiencing the same delusion you suffered when you argued with me ad nausea trying to convince me Ronaldo was coming back to United prior to him signing a new deal for Real.

He's not even worth anywhere near the 120m you lot are willing to shell out for him

agree with uir in a way. our fixtures have been easy as of late and we were expected to win them, which we did so no one can really complain. still not happy with the way we play against half decent sides. losing 3-0 to the scum at ot and not beating chelsea at home/city away.

Yer nited have had a nice easy run too but we're still showing better form and playing better football.
City and Chelsea you would expect would find most fixtures "easy", we've shown better form of late than them too.

WestSam play a physical game and we bossed them, they are not a top side but they are anything but an easy game, we made it look easy though.

We had 8 games in January, unbeaten in all (90 minutes) and only dropping points a month ago

Spurs: 9 games, scraped through to the LC final past Sheffield United, out of the FA Cup to Leicester, did well in the league apart from losing to Palace

Chelsea: 8 games, won the LC de facto final against us, only other wins were Watford, Newcastle, Swansea

Man City: 6 games, beat Sunderland and Sheffield Wednesday (but still went out of the FA Cup anyway)

Southampton: 6 games, decent league wins but possibly starting to fade

Man Utd: 6 games, only won against Leicester (20th), QPR (19th), and Yeovil (**** knows)

Everton: 6 games, 1 win against Crystal Palace (injured their striker)

Arsenal: 5 games, lost to Southampton, won the others

So although Chelsea beat us, overall they handled their schedule/rotation worse. The other traditional rivals are a joke.

I have no confidence in us when it comes to facing the better sides (top two) in the league. I just don't think we are capable of mixing things up enough to course any concerns to them and that includes the recent semi-final games against Chelsea, Mourinho won that battle between the managers IMO. I don't get that same feeling when looking at Man Utd, Arsenal or Spurs, they are all capable of beat the likes of Man City and Chelsea.

Having said that, we may not need to beat those top two to get what we want. We must beat our rivals IMO.

Egg-sactly (I posted this made up compound word before and was accused of not being able to spell<doh>)

Puts it all into perspective, the easy run stuff is garbage, last season when we were playing well it was "less games", there's always some magical reason to explain that we are playing well because "it's harder not" to or some such bollocks.

No striker.. we have one now, if only Studge was fit for the League cup games I reckon your confidence would have grown
