Vikings interested in Richardson, who wants to be traded from the Colts. If his injury record wasn't so wretched, I'd be intrigued by this. His arm strength is incredible and is obviously a strong rushing QB. It would be interesting to have McCarthy and Richardson as QB's. You could use both in games depending on the situation. But he can't stay healthy.

There were loads of rumours that the Vikings wanted to trade up to take him in his draft class but couldn’t get a deal done. Obviously it hasn’t worked out for him at the Colts but yeah in terms of a low draft pick to bring him in it adds an extra QB with potentially starter quality then could be a good deal for everyone. Off the top of my head not sure what year he’s in of his rookie deal but he’s definitely more intriguing than the Cousins type player.

It will depend what the Colts want, they are limited in draft picks after the Sauce trade so might want a lot. Theres an unlikely scenario where they just cut him, but I can’t see that happening as someone will take a chance on a potentially decent QB for a 5/6/7th pick. Their demands might also be a fair bit higher depending on the interest for him

Sonny Styles absolutely nailed the combine yesterday so whatever faint hope I had of him being available for the Vikings is now gone

This draft is very mediocre and one of those where outside of about 3/4 players you can make a case for about 50 being the next best. Can’t see too many trades because of that or maybe loads of smaller type trades because teams want to accumulate picks as they feel the talent is very similar from about pick 20-50.

If the Vikings can get an offer to move back and get a 2nd or high 3rd then they should do it, unless Downs/Love/Bain/Styles or Jermod McCoy are somehow still there at 18. Only scenario I can see where that potentially happens is if only one receiver is off the board by their pick, or one OT.

And his brother Lorenzo just nailed the combine as a safety as well. 4.28 40 as a safety is insanity

I just watched an american doing a rugby reaction video. He said "I am a big football fan and It looks like we just took the sport of rugby and pussyfied it." <laugh>

Vikings to release Aaron Jones and Hargrave. Good. We need to find a RB in the draft. There are always hidden gems to be unearthed.

Cardinals are releasing Murray. Another intriguing QB option for the Vikings, and for a low salary.

Greenard available for trade to help with salary cap issues as well. Makes sense in a deep edge draft class if they can get a second or third round pick.

And why not? He's clearly got talent, perhaps KOC can get more out of him.
He’s not interested in football. His contract had a clause in it that said he had to do a minimum of 4 hours football study a week, and he reportedly failed to do that multiple times. The fact that even had to be put in the contract should be a big enough red flag about his attitude. He is a big gamer and seems to spend all his time playing COD.

He seems to be one of those guys who was insanely talented and that got him to the NFL, but talent isn’t enough when you are surrounded by the freaks that play in the NFL, you need to have the right work ethic as well.

He isn’t the right sort of older veteran you want to tutor a young QB and I can’t see him having the interest to put the work in to improve.

Best case scenario if they go down the Murray route I can see is that it hopefully gets them a top 10 pick and they can draft a QB relatively high next year

Things hotting up ahead of free agency with a fair few trades happening. McDuffie to the Rams is an interesting one, not really sure what the Chiefs are doing there

AJ Brown to the Browns would be funny

Can't wait for the free for all next week. NFL free agency is ridiculously manic for a few days.

Yeah it’s like deadline day on roids. Doesn’t seem to be many big names hitting free agency this year but still should entertaining

Apparently Willis could get 30mill+ a year which is absurd to me given he's been a back up for all his career so far.
