Both very tough I know but two games that , if we are are on form are very winnable !
Cardiff's away form is pretty much on a a par with ours & nothing to write home about & The Tiger's home form is nothing special either & we did play them off the park in 2nd gear at the KP though their form has improved & does seem quite consistently good at present !

We do need to win both of these game IMO as we don't want big gaps appearing before January ,when I'm sure Nigel & his staff will address the few weakness's we do have .

I would personally prefer playing these two next as we do seem to be on our game against better quality opponents plus win or lose NP will be able to gauge what's required with a little more clarity against these two.

Thoughts ?
 
2 wins and we'll be in the top 2. Two losses and we'll be out of the play-offs.

A win and a draw and we'll stay where we are and that's what i'll predict.
 
It's probably a good thing that we've just had these two bad performances. Gets them out of the way before the matches that really matter. These games are huge. Win them both and we're really back up there. Lose them both and we're out of the top six. Huge. Massive. etc.
 
Underestimate our home form at your peril. We can have really off days, and lose to our typical bogey teams and banana skin games (Burnley and Peterborough) or just do the often (very rare) individual mistakes that throw games away (Blackpool).

We've only lost three at home and drawn once. It's not a shocking home record by any standard.

The Hull/Leicester game is going to be a massive game for both teams. Hull win, it puts us right in the mix with those contending for automatic promotion, but if Leicester win, you leapfrog us and put yourselves in the picture for automatic. Tense times... <whistle>

What a silly thing to say. It's not even Christmas and we're 5 points off autos. We're 'in the picture' whether we beat you or not.

It is, but it's still a pretty decent record, and besides, you're not playing at home.

Yeah, but I'm talking about in terms of heading into January. I realise there's only half a Season gone, yadayadayada, but if you lose to us, you're 8 points behind. It's not exactly going to leave you hot on the heels of the Top 2 sides really...

Sorry, I didn't finish that sentence weirdly. I meant to carry on and say that I wouldn't say we've been superb at home this season yet we've done better than you. I.e. You've given me confidence for pointing that out.

Yeah definitely. Not going to argue with that. Our home record isn't the best, but we've still only lost 3. What I'm trying to say is, it's not an easy place to come by any means. Palace found that out too.

That's a very good point, but what they did was spectacular and I can't see any team in this Division capable of doing what they did.

Against Hull I fancy our chances. Nigel knows alot of them inside out and if they set up like they did at the King Power Stadium we will just exploit the flanks with pace again. Waghorn, Nugent, Knockaert and Dyer will destroy them
 
Gunna be interesting seeming Cardiff lost to Peterborough last weekend.

The best present Santa can bring me is having no wumming Hull fans on this board between the 26th and new year, but its a big ask.

Nige doesn't really know our team anymore. The likes of Stockdale, Bruce, Faye, Elmo, Quinn, Meyler (if he's still here), Prozzy and Aluko are all new. What formation do Leicester tend to set-up with?

And that's more games than Stocks has played for you. Are you saying Bruce doesn't know him inside out?

Nope.

The club dealt with him internally though so he may have been fined by the club.
