Might as well jump in and put a positive match day thread together!

With a relegation battlers in Forest coming to town, this is the chance for the Mighty Saints to ignite their revival!

Baby steps have been occurring since Jones took charge, and this will be the first win of many glorious victories to follow!

Bazunu has had a rough couple of games but redeemed himself with a penalty save. I hope he keeps his place, as he’s the future.

Will Lavia return? That is a question everyone will be asking themselves. Will Edozie recover from his slight injury against Fulham? And more importantly, will we sign anyone before game day?

Forest… I don’t know their team and suspect they will put out 11 players. 11 losers more like!

officials - don’t care

They are ****. We are even worse. Have to win

Caballero
KWP ABK DCC Perraud
JWP Lavia
Stu Ely Edozie
Adams

I would recall tella look to get rid of Aribo, Diallo, Theo & Djenepo in this transfer window. These guys offer absolutely nothing to the football club.

Never heard of the referee, so just looked him up. A football league referee, who has refereed just three PL games in his career so far. Brilliant (not).

This isn't some meaningless mid-table clash. It's an incredibly important relegation six-pointer. Absolutely zero chance that his fourth ever PL game would have been, say, Arsenal v Newcastle.

Thomas Bramall is from Sheffield, he Refereed a Nottingham game which they lost 1 - 0. to Wolverhampton.

At least there's a nice and experienced ref as VAR...

Surely Jones won't play 3 CB's for this one. No point worrying about the referee - besides, his inexperience is likely to benefit us if anyone as we're at home. I don't care how we win this game - just win it.

I'd pick the same 10 outfield players, but in a 4-3-3 formation. Put Ely to the left of Lavia. We wouldn't exactly be losing anything offensively from him by playing him deeper, and it means JWP can play slightly further right - from where he can hopefully whip in a few qualify balls.

I get it was only Lincoln, but I did like the 4-3-3 when we played it for the final half hour in the league cup.

I really can't decide what to do about goalkeeper.

I actually thought Elyounoussi was one of our best players yesterday in a deeper role. Maybe that role will suit him better, like Joelinton.

Better hope we score first and play with a bit of effort or the atmosphere is going to be horrific.

Can't see anything other than a loss here under Jones, 2-1 forest (their winner coming in the last 10 minutes)
