Spurs win then. Expected I suppose with Villa being ****. 3 points though.

Yeah, Villa are ****e all right.

Thanks to idiotic planning and pandering to TV, we have three big games in 6 days. Villa being the first, then Europa league Thursday, and the NLD on Sunday!

Getting your excuses in early ? <whistle>

Some good games, exiting times let the club worry about fixture pile ups and just enjoy it fella.

I just think it's stupid to pander to the Tv co's like that. Three games in 6 days is too much. Consequently we tried to take out foot off the pedal last night and almost paid got it..

It's something that I've stopped worrying about, I bang on about this a lot. As fans we've been dragged into the business world of footy, how many times do you see arguments on finance and TV rights and CL revenue? We didn't used to care, as fans it's just the team on the pitch that matters.

The fixtures may well be daft but don't make excuses for the girly footballers, they need to crack on and win all the games.

Just noticed that Piskie beat me to it

TBF the spuds are looking quite good. They've had a kind fixture list though.

Arsenal will teach them another lesson at the weekend.

We really do need to beat Arsenal, in order to get on with the shift.

Can't say that I agree entirely, but the TV companies and governing bodies just don't give a **** about the fans.
That's been true for a while, but some of the fixtures this season have been appalling.

Why are Newcastle travelling to Bournemouth for an early kick-off this Saturday, for example?
That's about 350 miles, for ****'s sake. Give them til 3pm, at least.
Barnet played away against Hartlepool on a Tuesday night. 250 miles or so. Ridiculous.

The income from tickets is so minor compared to TV money that the clubs just don't care about fans having 300 mile round trips and early kick offs

All valid, but I don't care. The clubs might want to do something about it and I wish them well. My point is more about fans getting more wrapped up in off the field issues than the on field ones. I don't really care if Coutinho is a bit tired because he had to travel he would need to get a grip and perform.

I agree. Brazilian pansy.

Players that travel further and play more games that are closer together are clearly going to have a disadvantage against those that don't, though.
That's just obvious.

Lol at Coutinho bit.

Yeah there's an advantage, well maybe it's not exactly killing the poor loves traveling on luxury airlines, chilling with their mates and playing a bit of footy.
I can't muster feeling sorry for them.

Spurs, restoring some London pride in Europe!
<ok>

It makes you proud to be an Englishman, eh!

Tottenham are preparing to offer 19-year-old England midfielder Dele Alli a new contract after only 16 appearances for the club in recognition of his exceptional start at White Hart Lane.
(The Times)

...and to stop those sly ****ers at Chelsea and United from putting in any cheeky bids, in the Summer.

What the Prem has got to understand, is that there is a shift occurring at Spurs (according to many, including The Evening Standard), and Spurs need to keep its clutch of young lions together.

Tottenham starting XI: Lloris, Walker, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Rose, Alli, Dier, Dembele, Eriksen, Son, Kane.
Spurs v Spanners, Sunday, 22 November 2015)

Wow! That is a team that will scare anyone ****less!

Pace, power, and skill.

Target the full backs!

They'd actually have to get the ball occasionally in order to do that, though they did get a goal via a Walker ****-up.
Probably went to sleep a bit, after having nothing to do all game defensively.
