Better to have the chance of Gold and get Bronze than settle for Bronze and win Silver. It was Spurs first sniff of a title for years. Not surprising they couldnt keep it up after the chance was gone. Arsenal fell out of the race earlier.
Yet finished closer to it than you, if Leicester had blown up who would have won the title?

We would. We wouldn't have dropped points that really mattered.
They all matter which is why you came 3rd in a two team race, that attitude is why you never win anything. Be the best you can and see where you end up, don't just throw in the towel.
That extra place cost you £2m <ok>

So we don't win things because we don't care whether we come second or third? That's bizarre! We did everything we could to try to win it. What happened after that is irrelevant. We've not won the League because we've never had the best team.

You really cant see the significance of this can you, your team gave up Arsenal didn't.
If you are out of the title race this season by December (quite possible for all of us if City hit the heights again), will you just say meh, doesn't matter now if we finish 12th we did everything we could for a while?

No because that's not the same as 2/3 games to go and any chance of glory mathematically gone...therefore ****ing it off not really caring if we finished 2nd or 3rd because that wasn't our agenda and being on a downer psychologically resulted in giving up. Well done to Arsenal for coming 2nd to Lesta.

So if you can't win it you don't care what position you finish?

From being "out of the race" Arsenal managed to come second to Leicester, Spurs who "Had a chance" at one point finished 3rd behind both Leicester and Arsenal (who never had a chance). I don't really like the term bottlers because some teams are just better than others, I prefer the term defeatists for those who just give up.

They gave up because they couldn't win the title after the Chelsea.

They also happened to come across a very good team from the South Coast the following weekend who promptly were the last team to win at WHL <whistle>

No, Spurs gave up and let Arsenal "push you" when the going got tough. If you hadn't been so far in front Spurs would have really tried and beat you <laugh>
Arsenal hadn't been pushing Leicester for many weeks. They gave up their chance of winning much earlier. Our efforts took their toll and our young team didn't deal well with the disappointment.

So Arsenal, who were out of the running for weeks caught us on the line for second. I'd rather have the team that had a chance of first.

Ouch!

Buzzy was too consumed with rage to properly think that one through.

Consumed with rage ? Let me explain Terrence ya div......
The season we WON THE PREMIER LEAGUE it was you and your cohorts that was consumed with rage after telling us foxes “ we’re coming for you “ week in week out, then we had the Closet Gooner Hazza try to wind Vardy up and frankly, getting owned !
I was merely commending Power Spurs for being honest in his assessment that the “best” team won the league that season, you daft fvcktard !
Why do you constantly seek to wum and end up getting owned, Hazza style, time and time again..... it really is getting boring now Terrence.
