That doesn’t get around the fact that Dean ****ed it up big time,

No foul, and offside from the free kick too...

This is a foul. Going through the back of a player to get the ball is a foul, regardless of whether you get the ball.

He took the man first and then the ball. Foul correctly awarded.

nah going to disagree with you piskie. As funny as it was that Spurs lost and HIAG disappearing, Sanchez gets the ball before he gets the man (sanchez momentum takes him into davinson). See 2:10

Maybe ... but on that basis Sanchez (the unsoiled one) was unlucky to get booked at 2:42

And here's the Sanchez goal from a less fortunate angle <laugh>

There was a disaster on Saturday?
Arsenal are so desperate that scoring no legitimate goals against a Spurs side missing three key players and with three others carrying injuries counts as a massive success?
They did play pretty well to be fair, but I'm not worried that they can keep it up all year. Possibly they might win a cup.

Ouch!

As much as I hate fans pointing the camera at themselves whilst a game is on, this is funny :)

Cut to 1:36 for the action

We need to cement our place in the CL as the top priority over winning Cups, as that is the best way of keeping our squad together. If we continue to improve we will win something in the end, but given how far we were behind five years ago and how much more money everyone else has got, I'm pretty happy that we are making progress. We can lose a few battles if we win the war.

<applause>

It does make me laugh seeing the argument from Spuds that qualifying for the CL is now better than winning cups.

That isn’t what is being claimed, though.

PS said that we’d love to win a trophy, but that we have to consolidate our place at the Top 4 table if we are to keep our best players.

It’s early days for us. If we end up playing in the CL as long as Arsenal did and we never win it, I will consider that a failure.

Bullshit!
And that’s not what Dean called it for anyway!..

He's claiming that you need to do the exact same thing as you dozy ****s have spent the last decade trying to mock Arsenal for <laugh>
