BREAKING NEWS!! POCH IS STAYING AT SPURS!

Mauricio Pochettino says he will still be at Tottenham next season and has insisted there is no buy-out clause in his contract.

Sky in Italy reported earlier this week that Inter Milan wanted to appoint Pochettino as their new manager and that the Serie A club could buy the Argentine out of his contract by paying Spurs £4.2m. However, Pochettino has dismissed the claim of a buy-out clause in his current deal and says he remains fully committed to Tottenham.

When asked if there was a buy-out clause in his contract, Pochettino said: "No, there is no buy-out clause in my contract. I will stay here next season.

"There are many, many rumours, but I am committed to Tottenham and I have no reason to leave the club. I will stay here, don't worry. Pre-season starts on July 3, you will see me here, don't worry."

Pochettino is contracted to Tottenham until the summer of 2021 having signed fresh terms last May.

Tottenham have already secured a second-placed finish in the Premier League and sealed Champions League football for another year.

Inter are on the lookout for a new manager having sacked coach Stefano Pioli last week following five defeats in six games.

They have since approached the representatives of Chelsea manager Antonio Conte and Atletico Madrid manager Diego Simeone, according to Sky in Italy, but both have made it clear they want to stay at their respective clubs.

This news will come as a massive blow to this site's third-rate wumsters. I was never in doubt that he would stay, as all of you know. I was only arguing this very point with Westy, yesterday.

So, let's all celebrate with us Yiddos, that the Prem's brightest star manager is staying at the one club that neutrals love to watch play footy - the way footy should be played!

And Poch... kiss that badge, yeah? You deserved it, my old son!

It refers to last season, you clown!

Poch has already secured us a 2nd spot (last season), and now he's on for securing another CL spot (either 3rd or 4th) (this season).

Get it now, or do I have to draw you a diagram?

Spurs 5 v 4 Leicester

Spurs came back from 1-3 down to beat Leicester on the last day of the season and to clinch 3rd spot, ahead of 'Pool.

Kane scored a brace, but it was good enough only to earn him second spot in the race for the Golden boot. He simply found it too difficult to make up the ground lost by his injury. Still, it will keep him keen for next season, when as he continues his quest to become the Prem's greatest and most prolific goal-scorer.

In the meantime, Poch has secured Spurs yet another season in the CL, as we look to bed into our new stadium, and move the club into its next phase in its history.

You played all 38 league games away from home, and yet you surpassed all our expectations for the season!

Kiss the badge, lads! You have thoroughly earned it, this season.

Congrats on winning the "surpassed all expectations" trophy. It will go handily next to the "we put pressure on cup" and the "we finished ahead of Arsenal" title.

With the Prem over, our minds turn to the Wirld Cup, and I’m wondering how many of the Spurs lads will feature?
