Gareth Bale is reported to have bought a house back in England and favours a move to Tottenham ahead of Manchester United and Chelsea, according to the latest claims in the Spanish media.

The Wales forward seems certain to return to the Premier League this summer with his five-year spell at the Bernabeu set to come to an end.

(TeamTalk)

I understand that we're offering Alderwiereld + £60million for Bale.

I always said that the lad never really wanted to leave.

Kiss the badge, son.

Are Tottenham serial chokers?
This is the question that goes to the heart of Tottenham's current position - and one that offers powerful arguments for and against.

As the seats around Wembley emptied and the Spurs fans who stayed and those who left accepted what is becoming increasingly familiar and inevitable, the list of failures was once again receiving a forensic examination.

From Arsenal at Wembley in 1993 through to this loss at the same rebuilt arena 25 years later, the FA Cup semi-final has brought nothing but the same bitter taste of defeat for Spurs.

It is the longest losing streak at this stage in the competition's history, a record they would be happy to break in half.

Different managers. Different teams. The same outcome every time and the same questions about when this spell without a trophy, stretching back to the League Cup win over Chelsea in 2008, will ever end.

I'm playing PES 5 on the PSP, as Spurs.

The players in our squad back then were:-

Robinson
Davenport
King
Gardner
Pamerot
Ifil
Mendes
Sean Davis
Lennon
Jackson
Routledge
Davids
Brown
Robbie Keane
Kanoute
Defo
Mido

Why didn't that team achieve more than it did?

Is your arsehole twitching tonight Les? Watford still need a point or two to ensure PL football next year and are likely to be a sterner test than the mighty Brighton.

Robinson - Englands number 1
Davids - Multiple league winner
Defoe - 7th on the all time PL goal scorer list
Kanoute - multiple uefa cup winner and african player of the year
Robbie Keane - All time irish goal scorer and multiple MLS league winner

Any of those players won the Norwich Hospital cup mate ?

Spurs 2 v 0 Watford

As Poch guns the engine and speeds his mighty juggernaut towards Europe, the press is desperate to paint a picture of discontentment for the driver.

It is both pitiful and heartening to witness the third rate wummery.

Alli and Kane, take a bow!

And kiss those badges, lads. You’ve thoroughly deserved it!
