  2. Yeah, right. Of course he should have.

Silly ref! Fancy missing an opportunity to further demonstrate his bias towards 'Pool!

    Tut!

I can see Sky sacking him, at this rate.

I sense frustration? A longing for more points, for a striker who can score goals, life is so unfair I may find a corner and just stay there for the day and cry myself to sleep.

Berahino wasn't selected for West Brom yesterday as he's heavily linked with a move to Spurs.

How do Spurs fans feel about Berahino being their major summer signing given that he's not very good?

I'd be happy to have him. He's young and a growing talent. He also formed a very good partnership with Kane at England U21 level.

Fair enough. I think a signing like that smacks of mediocrity but I'm sure Poch knows what he's doing.

We disagree then. I think he has the makings of a V. good striker.

Berahino is a good striker, not up there with the best and never will be imo but he'll do a good job in most games.

Or just buy him outright, like Utd did with Webb!

One of the best transfers in PL history.

  20. That Gomez, at Swansea, is looking like a top striker, at the moment. Hasn't he scored in every game, so far, this season? How much did he cost, when Swansea bought him, a few seasons back? He couldn't get a game when Bony was at the club, but he's looking like the real deal, right now.

It all goes to show that you don't have to splash £millions on some foreigner with a flash name, in order to grab yourself a goal-scoring gem.

Mind you, with us at the moment, you could put Messi up front and he'd be useless, as our midfield doesn't seem to be able to pass the ball forward, during games, so he'd get no service!
