If it wasn't missed and the officials saw it but took no action then that would mean Dembele didn't do it, which brings this guy back into the mix
I'm not trying to get at anything other than he has been charged due to,an incident "missed by the officials" as the pic clearly shows, it wasn't missed. Why he took no action at the time, I've no idea. Having sad this, I don't expect Dembele to get away with it. The aptly initialed FA will have some excuse.

Costa has previous, lots of it. Dembele, to my knowledge, has never been involved in any kind of violent incident. Apart from Costa doing his usual snidey trick of scratching Dembele's back whilst pretending to be putting an arm around him, I can't think what provoked him so much. I'm really surprised that Dembele reacted the way he did.
I think we should all stop arguing and set up a petition so that players wear protective eyewear from the start of next season.
