He probably had the hump when the Euro’s was on & us slagging off Englands performance & couldn’t hack it & had enough, but hope he’s ok though

Handy hint : avoid doing what I did last night which was to slice a perfectly disc shaped lozenge of flesh off the tip of my thumb with a bread knife. Not deep, but man it bleeds. And bleeds. And bleeds. Stings a bit too.
My wife spent 8 hours at our local A&E a few weeks ago with one of her friends who was obviously seriously ill - incredible breathlessness eventually attributed to pulmonary embolisms. If it took that long for her to be diagnosed and treated, I reckon my wound would have healed up and formed scar tissue by the time I was seen.
Just when we all forgot about it COVID strikes again! Had an awful weekend thinking it may be flu but tested positive this morning, the missus has it as well. Apparently a lot of it about at the moment....
Yes, all of them so far and the 2nd time I've had it. Last time the missus had it I didn't get it...
Medical staff ( daughter in law ) says it’s everywhere here. I was doing some building work at a Toyota dealer and they were quietly putting up ‘ wash your hands’ hygiene signs all over.
The media don’t want to push it either.
The jab mitigates the symptoms, doesn’t stop you catching it. Still better to have it than not, you could be feeling much worse. Hope it clears up soon.
