Smith's challenge seemed to fall apart after Scheffler's streaky chip dropped in. Result never seemed in doubt after that.

Just watching a bit of the US PGA Championship. Tiger Woods is not in good shape, he can barely crouch down to line up a putt or pick his ball out of the hole, sad to see.

Shows ya how good the bloke is when he qualifies for the weekend on one leg basically and others such as Scheffler, Poulter, Westwood and DJ don't even make the cut ! The game will miss him when he decides to hand up the clubs

The sad thing is that these last injuries were self-inflicted, crashing your car being a golfer is not the best way of prolonging your playing career.

On a more uplifting note, my son called me and said whilst you are back home anything you would like to do. I said play one more round at Springhead.

My Grandfather was the first greenkeeper at Springhead GC. He lived in the lodge at the corner just across from the Broadhighway.

I was born in that lodge.

    My father player at Springhead.

I started playing golf at Springhead.

My son started playing golf at Springhead.

Now my Grandson has started playing Golf there.

So 5 generations of connection with the club, so I just want to play there one last time.
