I reckon Phil will close with a 68 so it comes down to whether Jordan can close it out with a 72 or better.

Mickelson is 6/1, which is just about generous enough to tempt me.

Just 4 shot in front, I dont think Spieth will hang on. Fancy Mickelson or Rose, both have won majors before, so know what is needed.

The young lad doesn't seem to dwell on his mistakes. Everytime he made one yesterday he bounced back immediately. That lob wedge shot onto the 18th yesterday showed unbelieveable composure following the error with the same club he made just off the green on the 17th. Mickelson may well be a threat, but he's been known to self destruct by trying outlandish shots when chasing leaders. Rose needs to play out of his skin & hope Spieth has on off-day.Heart says Rose, but I think the youngster will take it. It should be a great watch.

Spieth 2 under after 3. It's going to come down to his nerve around Amen and then 15 and 16.

Spieth 4 ahead of Rose and 6 ahead of Mickelson with the rest not even in the same continent. If he plays par golf from here, he should win.

I see fat Phil is blaming every **** but himself when he misses a put.

I hope the ****house falls in a bunker and breaks both his legs.

A genuine conversation I've just had with Mrs Carmine.

Mrs C- Has Tiger Woods won anything lately?

CG- No, he's getting on and he's injured a lot.

Mrs C- Injured? Playing golf? How? Has the ball hit him? She said this looking confused.

CG- Yeah that's right, it hit him three times on the head last year. He's been knocked out each time and nearly died twice.

Mrs C- Well he should wear a crash helmet then.

And she meant it, she really did.

She then got up and walked into the kitchen.

    Unbelievable.

Tiger's helmet is not to be trusted. It's ridden far too many bikes.

Spieth might be a decent golfer but he's a right slap head for someone so young.

He needs to have a word with Wayne Rooney.

I reckon Rose is too nicey nicey for a newbie in this situation to be on the final round with, I bet Spieth would have struggled against Bubba or Woods, looks like he can will get there Spieth, well done to him amazing achievement

Speith will start feeling the heat as Mickelson starts to draw closer.

I stoped watching when he was six up with 8 to play.

Even I'd struggle to lose that lead.

McIlroy has hit the ball like a god today - the putts just haven't dropped. Could have been a 63 if they had.

Still, the damage was done on Friday.

Who was the old guard? Rory? Woods?

Rory will be number 1 for a while yet and Woods has been poor for a while now. So no.

I don't think Tiger is done yet either - champions always find a way to win.
