these russian soldiers are amazing
It's stuff like this that shows us that soldiers are humane individuals, not killing machines.

With more classy teams CSKA was coming with very deep line of defence and all the team playing very defencively, counting on counter-attacks. It was the reason Slutsky was critisized by fans. But partly it was due to very slow defencive line. So CSKA's style is counter-attacks with players going forward depending on class of opponent team.

Shgleb your description of Slutsky's playing formation/tactics sounds very much like our previous manager Marco Sllva's preference in the second half of last season. Unfortunately most of our players who knew that style will probably have moved on to Premiership or other clubs by the time the new season starts. But I like the idea of Slutsky's counter-attacking style with fast forwards/wingers. Your comments are much appreciated and your English is excellent. Thanks for the input.

wales easily beat them as expected as any good team would do
although he got a disastrous result against the english, a draw with ****ing england.. a terrible result for him although russian players are very very subpar and very old.. russia has very very poor footballers at the moment.. still england performed better than expected and actually did amazing to get a draw against them
so he is a huge risk.. couldn't even beat england

It's obviously a risk as he hasn''t been in this country before. But international football is different to club, less time with players, smaller choice of players to get.

Can't not tell that in EURO Russia was without two key players: defencive midfielder Denisov and attacking midfielder Dzagoev. It affected very negatively on team. Slutsky even decided to change formation playing with trio Smolov-Dzyuba-Kokorin, first of which had to play on left wing of attack/midfield being a forward. Of course, EURO was a total failure for our national team and for Slutsky but it was partly because of injuries. You can tell from the results on EURO qualification games, where Slutsky took team from Capello being third in the group and won 4 of 4 games with Sweden (main opponent in battle for second place), Moldova, Lichtenshtein and Montenegro.

I'd judge Leonid Viktorovich mainly by his work with CSKA.

I think any country with Hamilton and Ross County in their top tier needs to pipe down very quickly...
 
I've been away a while with one thing and another , what does his Signing point to with regards the sale of the club .???

He seems to be quite the sought after fella with a fair bit of influence , it feels that this is a determined effort by the club to return to the Prem , I kinda expected the owners to let things fester like last season,
