I can't see us sacking LVG, it's a strange one because he said 2016/2017 season would be his last in football. But we still need to plan for the future, so why would we allow him to spend another 100 million plus on players knowing he is leaving and a new manager will come in and will want to bring in his own players. If Pep really is available and wants the United job then I can see us coming to a mutual agreement with LVG. Hopefully Pep brings Lewandowski and Muller with him

Van Gaal has more chance of getting Muller I suspect.

OPTA released some interesting stuff. Apparently no team presses as well as we do, we win the ball back 40% of the time, miles ahead of the nearest team.

I won't post it, as not to upset anyone with positive United news, but these things are important for our long terms goals and ambitions.

You should post it. All positive news welcome as there is so little of it about at the minute.

The problem doesn't seem to be winning the ball back, it's what the team do with it once they've got it.

Impossible, surely Liverpool with their "gangbang" pressing are way ahead of us :emoticon-0100-smile

I've got some more OPTA for everyone...

Man Utd are on their worst run of form since December 1998. So... we now go on an unbeaten run and win the treble <diva>

Utd have the highest passes per chance created in the league. Wait for it... 72 <yikes>

But wait.. there's more <laugh>

Most passes in own half
Highest percentage of passes backwards

We rank 20th on percentage of passes forwards
But are up to 19th on percentage of passes into final third.

This OPTA is a right laugh... and so enlightening

Keep polishing the turd that is Louis Van Gaal <ok>
