Pretty much what I was thinking. I can understand that if you had a choice of 2 employers where you would be doing the same job you would usually go with the one that offers you the most money. But it would be a bit underhand to turn up at one Club with whom a tentative (albeit not binding) agreement had been made and then go 'oh, hang on a minute, Harry's on the phone'.
If he outright rejects us after hearing what is on offer, and then holds talks with QPR and ends up there, I will be disappointed but I can handle it. What will make me cross
is if he plays the 2 Clubs off against each other. In which case QPR can have him.

The thing is if he gets the clause it's win win for him there - If they stay up Harry will get more millions than we can ever imagine and they will be a force in a season or two. If they go down he can leave on the cheap.
It's the agents that claim to have met with QPR as a matter of curtosy - in short QPR and Harry are going to offer them **** loads also.

Marseille have already accepted an offer for Remy from Newcastle for £8.3million and scheduled talks appear to be on hold.
Newcastle have not commented on the matter today.
