That they disapprove of BLM as a political movement. I don't believe it indicates that all those booing were racist. There's the distinction
A mixture I suspect.

So you're defending Millwall knuckle-draggers? Fair enough
A mixture I suspect.
I think BLM is a divisive organisation and I don't think showing support for it has any place at a football match.
What's wrong with the Kick Out Racism approach?

disagree Beth, it is a football match, not a political forum for left wing activists to make a point, I applaud them for booingLike they thought that one out as completely as you have Goldhawk.
I'm not sure I have thought it out that deeply...and although I appreciate that [HASHTAG]#BLM[/HASHTAG] has become a political movement, rather than an upsurge of public feeling, I definitely would not boo players who chose to take a knee.
What the Millwall fans did today is not good
Whether BLM/Bending the knee has a place or not in football (personally, I thought our club got it right by stopping it and raising awareness through other means), booing those that partake is disrepectful to their beliefs. Akin to booing National Anthems, minutes silence, people at prayer etc
Apparently some West Ham fans did the same today. Of course they were all making a nuanced and thought through constructive comment on the nature of racism and efforts to combat it. Unfortunately for them and their brothers at Millwall, booing their teams making this gesture just ensures that they will have to continue to do so in perpetuity, because to stop doing so would look like caving in to racists (even if they are actually intellectuals), so these freedom fighters will have to continue booing until they are all banned from football grounds.
Brilliant.
Some do ...alot of [HASHTAG]#BLM[/HASHTAG] don't.You are aware BLM wants to defund the police and abolish prisons? How close to anarchy would that be?
Some do ...alot of [HASHTAG]#BLM[/HASHTAG] don't.
On here, some people want Brexit others don't. You cannot say all QPR supporters want Brexit
It’s those booing as nuanced intellectuals I feel sorry for as the message will be lost making the same noise as those doing so out of racism. They need their own sound to differentiate themselves from the boo-ers.
How about you teach them the Watford Whine?![]()

Col will hate this attempt at wumming. Disappointing.
Honestly though, trying to find excuses for these people is really not a great look. Crack on though. Everyone is entitled to an opinion.
It was very gentle, Watford...
I'm just pointing out that it really isn't as simple as accusing a bunch of knuckledraggers of racism..on this occasion
