With so many both bemoaning the quality of the squad and questioning the acumen of the manager, the expression impaled on the horns of a dilemma springs to mind. It seems most unlikely that donut will peddle parkinson for several reasons, one significantly being that he will lose face with both fans and the new investors. Given his face currently has the hallmarks of the elephant man he really is in the 'do dos'. From rotten ross to pathetic parky, he really knows how to pick em. Assuming he holds his nerve he has to support PP in the January Window and we have all seen '5 new players' being bandied around. At this stage the best we can hope for is play offs and given he has lost the plot with the squad ( they clearly either dont respect him or havent a clue what he is trying to do, or both ), even the play offs look a dream ( nightmare ?) If we fail to go up he has to go and we will be left with 5 more wastes of oxygen to add to the rest of the dross ross left behind. Our players are by and large unsellable ( mainly due to them being on wages the vast majority of div 1 teams couldnt afford ) . Personally I wouldnt let him and coton anywhere near the market. Its throwing good money ( we dont have ) after bad money ( we shouldnt have spent anyway ). By the way, as I've mentioned ( ad nauseam ) a proper manager would get a tune out of these players. Bowyer, stendel , Jones and wilder have all proven that a thin squad of journeymen and loans will get you out relatively easily. We just seem intent in giving 5hithouse managers too much time.
No, of course he wouldn’t you moron. Walk away from a potential title and European campaign, 3 weeks after saying he wants a permanent deal, to play mid table league one at the end of a great career. I ****ing despair lad.
