Difference - and it's a substantial one, is we got circa £7m for Grabban went it all went pear-shaped.
That ain't happening with Naismith, and as such, not worthy of comparison, imo <ok>
We made a profit on Grabban he scored some important goals that lead to a play off spot he also scored home and away against Ipswich.

Naismith played well against Liverpool a game we still lost and a few games at the back end of last season when we had nothing to play for .

Grabban missed more sitters than CJ, Josh Murphy, Nelson Oliveira and Robert Rosario combined. The whole world of football was astounded that we got more than 7 shillings for him <doh>

It's curious that both of you fail to mention Grabban's refusal to play in your defense of what a good signing he was for City. That Bournemouth were stupid enough to buy him back for £7m hardly makes him a great City player.

Well being a Sunderland Moderator I guess you have followed his season closer than me .
I do know he scored 2 against us in one of Sunderland's only wins and 12 goals in 20 appearances more than any Norwich players.

In Naismith's case, it's almost baffling that nobody is stupid enough to take a punt on him. His wages (if the £30 k p/w is accurate) are beyond us, but not beyond half this league, and the club aren't going to want a transfer fee.

I'm amazed there's not a Sunderland, Hull, etc desperate enough to take a punt on him finding his form. After all he's a Scottish international with a hat trick against Chelsea!

You are confusing me thinking he was a much much better signing for Norwich compared to Naismith for me just praising him .

I am not a Sunderland moderator, I co-administrate a board of mainly but not exclusively Sunderland fans. Fyi he missed a bucketful of sitters in those 20 games up there.

Well he still scored more than any of our players in a worse side than ours.
If we loan a striker that gets 12 goals in 20 I would be more than happy even if he missed chances
