For anyone who is in need.

Technical lesson time. To put a <redwine> smiley I copied from the BBC and set the picture in paintbox. I saved closed and then opened the file again then pasted it into a message here. It did not work at first and I still do not understand why it did not and then did work. Now I copy and paste from earlier entries.
 
I copied it from the BBC site and opened it in Paint and then saved it on my computer.

When you go to reply to a post you then click on the paperclip icon and you should then be able to 'add files'. You can then find the image on your computer and add it into the home box.

After that you can then drag the image from the top of the page (home box) down to the box at the bottom (attachments), tick the image and then click 'insert online'. The image should then appear in your reply.

Hope this makes sense and works for you all.
