:emoticon-0136-gigglOn the basis that the only England players apart from Trott and Swann showing much form are those who didn't play in the Ashes, perhaps they should select a greater number of less experienced players next time round. I suggest taking a look at some of the following in the nets:

John Major, my nephew Mark, Mick Jagger, our postman Ian (an accent like John Arlott's for those of you old enough to remember), Andrew Lloyd-Webber, Gary Lineker, my sister Sue (who bowls a decent underarm googly), Gary Neville...there, that's at least the nucleus of a decent team <laugh>
 
In the cricket it should also be pointed out that we can also be knocked out if the remaining West Indies game is a no result and Bangledesh win. WI's run rate is hugely better than ours.

Edit: Actually if both games are washed out/draws we go out. Unlikely but knowing our luck they get 6 months worth of rain in two days!

This is all a complete mystery to me. When you look at the place where it tells you what you get, it's all greek to me. Hey ho, never mind, it's just like every other "normal" conversation. Some people talk all the time, some people shout, some people you listen to and others you ignore. But the quality of conversation on here is great. Don't want it spoiled by people posting up their scores :) Whoops BB you did just that :( Never mind, we're all guilty.

Let's hope the end of the season isn't like the cricket eh?
 
We are through to the Quarter Finals UNLESS Bangladesh beat South Africa AND Windies get at least a point off India.
