Hi not Nesties.

we played as a team last night - Malky had done his homework well and met Rodgers tactically. They may have had a lot more possession but are goal shy - when we scored I really thought we were the only side likely to win it.

I was refering to the only side likely to win it. <doh>

Yes - it was one of those things that you always thought that if we scored maybe .. just maybe - whereas Swansea for all their possession never looked
really threatening. I am pleased to be in such good company - did Tommy say that on the match report?

Leo, he said it several times during and after the match. He was not too kind about the Swans style of play. An example was just after the start of the second half. Most of the seats infront of Jon Marks and Tommy were still empty as the people had not come back. Jon said that it might take five minutes before we see anything because of people drifting back. Tommy retorted that it wouldn't matter as Swansea would still be within 10 yards either side of the halfway line.

He was fair as usual I thought, and noted that in the second half we pressed them further up the field. From that point on I had the impression we were starting to create doubt in their defence.

Well done Ak - this thread is 3rd on the not606 site it seems for overall posts - they have aleague table somewhere

welll we will just ave to keep going , we are 5 in the championship with total posts , soon to go 4th not bad for a first month;)
I see bazini has raised his ugly mush again <yikes> Elton do something please , the bankrupt is taking us over <yikes>

Still think it was a great effort last night COYH:) I think we will end up with about 64 points which is a hell of a lot of progress on last seasons efforts and should see us finish about 9/10 ! At the beginning of the season I reckon we would all have gladly taken that!

Absolutely for sure (taken 64 points) but I think that it is testimony to the whole club that we had the opportunity to beat the club in second place, and we didn't. If that were a one-off I'd be saying "great" but since we have had "great" matches already (QPR, Norwich, Millwall; all away) one needs to keep superlatives in hand.
