Frenchie does the beep happen going down hill or when you use the brakes? Also check all the fluids , it could just be a low level warning for brake fluid , power steering ,oil etc!

Only when going downhill Norway. Last man thought it was a switch that slides around inside of it's casing which seems to make sense to me.

Some clever clogs who sits at a computer designing car wiring systems thought one day, wouldn't it be nice if I hid all the wires so no one can see them. <grr>

Dont know why but I found that extremely funny ,sorry OFH ! Are the fluid levels all ok , Need to discount the simple stuff first! , dont want to disconnect a beep , if the beep is trying to tell you something important! Could even be a low level warning in your air con if the sensor is at the back!

I am lucky that i can just call my dad when ever there is a problem with my car and he will sort it.

It looks like we will also make 20,000 posts today as well.

There I was with a few moments spare time and thought I would catch up with the Nest, all several hundred pages, and I walk into criticism of auto-sparkies. Wires are only plentiful and hidden because the customer wants more features; toys, warning devices and other electrically controlled things and doesn't want to see the cables. If had my way we would have minimal wiring, no brake pad wear sensors, no lambda valves, no tyre pressure monitoring, etc but there is always a call for more. You have no idea how much a main body harness weighs - frightening, two men to lift it into one of our vehicles. We've gone from wow!, to nice to have, through to standard feature. Years ago no cup holders, then moudings in the interior, then sprung loaded presenters and now electrically powered presenters with a smooth action and little lights, aaargh!!

Frenchie your problem, without detailed analysis, is most likely a switch (brake fluid level would be a good start) but could be a short that only occurs with the car pointing in a certain direction.

Try "interrupteur de niveau de liquide de frein" with your mechanic.

So pretty much what I suggested then Brag :) I totally agree with you , My rat bike has no indicators no gauges ignition is kick start head lights and brakelights are all it has! Makes lecky snags lots easier to fix!!

Almost there for this milestone! Had a lovely day today, nice lunch with the wife then a walk up the Champs-Elysees where they are preparing for Christmas with cabins being filled with Christmas goodies all the lights and decorations going up! I cannot wait for my next visit when everything will be up and running, as that will be next month for me;)

Thank you Brag for your help, I will put it to him.

Sorry about my comment, I tried hard to resist, but couldn't stop myself. <laugh>
