Yes I am but I prefer the Psychedelic Furs and Nena, and many other musics from Lee Aaron to Zötl, classical music to death metal and groups and styles between those points. Every day I have a different favourite. I do specially like powerpop and hardrock but I like many things. One type of music I do not like is rap.

Does that make me sound old? I need to go to the music thread.

not beer, admittedly, but when i was 4 and my brother was 8 we used to creep down in the middle of the night to raid my parents' cocktail cabinet. He'd have creme de menthe (yuck!) and i'd have tia maria! My mum didn't know til years later why there was often sticky glasses in the cocktail cabinet! lol

that was a tedious game, wasn't it! i've just finished watching it. So many changes, so few goals. And yes, remarkably similar to Watford, which basically means they should make all of our team the national team and have done with it! ;)

Morning all from a still dark Paris;) that reminds me H of back in the day when at Hogmany us kids would get an alcoholic snowball (advocaat and lemonade) That was way before I used to get small cans of beer as a tip at the festive time doing my paper round<yikes> from the people I was delivering to! Not that I have a problem with alcohol;) Hic!

Morning All, Mme off for the day with a friend on a shopping expedition with the cheque book. <yikes>

Time to book some hotels for a quick blast over to the UK. Book three nights with us and get a free one says the advert, so having already got two in the bank I book another two then have to phone the call centre to claim my free one. They cannot find me on their database despite sending me e-mails regularly. When did I last stay, what is my postcode, what is my e-mail address, did you have cornflakes for breakfast? After sometime I am found, only to be told that I cannot book my free night until I have checked out of hotel for the third time despite having already paid for it.<grr>

Phoned the ferry company to get a booking which if you are over 60 gives you a 20% reduction on the fare. Having a nice chat to a charming young French lady about the mess that Sea France are in while her computer is wound up. ;) Sea France lost €240m in 2010 and things have not improved. LD Lines, what was Norfolk Line and a workers co-op are all making bids to take it over. My lady thought that they would get it, but whoever does I can see yet another hike in prices all round again.:(

Ooh i used to love snowballs when i was a kid! lol...how did you stay on your bike for the paper rounds? ;)

Nope, she was shocked when we let her in on it years later..i think a good 30 years...she honestly had no idea and couldn't explain the sticky glasses. We had a good laugh about it..coz she always used to hide our presents in there, so we always knew what they were lol.

    Enjoy! :)
