Personally I would rule out potatoes - even though they are versatile - mashed, boiled, roast , chips wedges - so it is rice or pasta. Now rice is good especially with curries but then again pasta goes with lots of good things like bolognese - but which is better ........ FIGHT :)

Blimey - I have just noticed we are approaching 1,000 posts on here - I wonder if Ak will have to have multiple nests like on 606 as the threads had a one month limit or if this one will be immortal

Leon this thread goes on until I kill it dead. I will not unless the speed of operating becomes slow.

akureyri, sorry to be a pain, but could I swap the beaker for a bone china mug (preferably designed and manufactured by Aynsley China). As for the stirring spoon, I like this placed in the mug, facing North, with the handle facing East.

    Kind regards

yorkie - Mrs Sandy has also conducted her own extensive reseach on this subject. Unfortunately her results are a bit vague due to over-researching certain items :D:D

    Afternoon all.
Too lazy to find out how to add smileys and pretty pictures. Anyone got a quick explanation suitable for the simple-minded?

    Afternoon All,

In reply to the question, did I overdo the Bordeaux last night, until I looked at the bottle this morning I didn't think so,but I think I must have. :(

Cheap wine @ £10 a box? You know better than that Yorkie. ;)

A morning with the paint brush and varnish and now off in search of guttering.

I am getting a touch worried. This is my tool shed, but Mme keeps referring to it as the gite!

BBW - ak will also need to know what type of stirring spoon? Electroplated nickle steel, silver, or perhaps the more common stainless steel. Also will you be requiring one with a specific logo/emblem at the end of its handle <confused>

Just googled Gite and now understand your concern Frenchie. This could turn out to be a longer than anticipated project.

However at least you'll have somewhere to hide when Mne decides on a new project
