Indeed Leo , I am very concerned so far with what little I have read about him !
However we must trust in GT ( just hope he isnt selling us down the river to a slimy toerag) Maybe Panos is the upstanding citizen of this less than dynamic duo:(

Tried to read through/analyse all the take-over-talk but it hurt my brain - so I thought I'd try it this way (something I do at school with my classes)

    http://www.wordle.net/show/wrdl/3176204/Watford_take-over_talk

It looks pretty, but all it tells me is that he may like the sound of his name! :emoticon-0112-wonde

My first impressions are that I'm not impressed - seems like another Simpson character to me.

May be used for GCSE's in England/Wales but up here it's used in Primary schools to help kids analyse their writing/help with reading comprehension. Plus it makes some nice colourful pictures to hang on classroom walls! :emoticon-0142-happy

Have been a big school kid for quite a few years now - when I was kicked out all those years ago, I swore to come back and show them how it should be done

I opened the more smileys option in the go advanced reply section and then put my cursor over the image and did a right click and chose the copy image option. After that I put it into my text and pressed control (Ctrl) and V at the same time.

For everyone who does not use a computer a lot Ctrl is a power button.
    Ctrl C is copy
    Crtl X is cut
    Ctrl V is paste
    Ctrl S is save
well they do that on my computers.

Taken from wfc forums more worrying stuff

I noticed that most the comments about Bassini have been deleted from the Watford Observer. I felt this forum was for the fans and as such they need to know the truth!!

When asked how he made his money, Bassini said: “There are maybe 15 private companies that I invested in and put money into”– was it ever his own money? He already admitted that one of these companies was his fathers and his father gave up on a million pound hotel deal and this is why he went bankrupt. What he failed to mention was that all his companies went into liquidation.

As he was not so forthcoming with the companies details let me please enlighten you all:
He has been a director of:

WORLD WIDE DISTRIBUTORS (UK) LIMITED (dissolved 1994)
    PL MULTITRADE LIMITED (dissolved 1995)
THE ORIGINAL PASTA BAR HOUSE LIMITED (dissolved 1997)
THE PERFUME STORE LIMITED (dissolved 1997)
    MERCIAN CORPORATION LIMITED (dissolved 2000)
    MULTIBAY LIMITED (dissolved 2000)
    MULTIBAY (LONDON) LIMITED (dissolved 2002)
DANCING DIVAS LIMITED (dissolved 2008 )
    NEWBECK MANAGEMENT LIMITED (dissolved 2007)
HUNGRY RESTAURANTS LIMITED (dissolved 2008 )
REGAL PARTNERSHIP LIMITED (dissolved 2008 )

Mr Basinni is a bragger. In physiology you learn about people like Mr Bassini. When he says “I deal in property, I basically do deals as they come along. I am doing something now which will come out soon which is quite high profile. That will be something interesting.” I wonder what this may be? I think he was bragging – the people behind Laurence will convert that land into property.

Lets look at the facts; the fact is Mr Bassini tried to deceive the club by giving a different name. I did a lot of research on our friend Mr Bassini.

If you are no more then 10 years old, then I suppose you may believe Mr Bassini when he quotes that he had nothing to do with Blooms. Now Mr Bassini has always had a way of exaggerating things i.e. when he calls Blooms a restaurant, its not – it’s a café. It was well documented that the reason it failed was because he used to abuse staff publicly and finally the staff walked out on him without even getting paid their salaries.

Apparently he is well known and loathed within his community. Please don’t quote me on this, but it seems that whoever actually knows this guy says to steer clear of him. His own community will confirm that this man lies, he cheats and he doesn’t care about anything or anyone nor what happens to them. The sad thing is, he actually thinks he is above everyone else. You could be Bill Gates, and he will try and convince you he is richer and more successful.

I do not believe that Mr Bassini owns any assets – in fact I KNOW he does not own any assets. Taking into account the two cafes that went into liquidation (yet again) last year, I think it would be prudent for WFC to satisfy its supporters, by asking Mr Bassini’s to provide proof of his assets ranging back 3 years. I would bet my last dollar, he would refuse to show this. My research also tells me that he does not even own his own property. The fact he owns no assets and is quite used to going bankruptcy and with the new law stating that he may be discharged within a year – this is all so important in using him as a front man. Maybe Panos has just been taken in by this conman like lots before Panos.

If the funding is coming from “rich” family, then why are they not buying the club? My feelings are, they or someone is just using a person such as Mr Bassini who is an accomplished failure for their own good. What’s another bankruptcy to Mr Bassini. I don’t believe its his family at all, and reality I don’t think they are wealthy enough. Its someone else. He’ll be clear again in a year – especially as I know he has no assets.

But where does that leave WFC? Good job Mr Bassini really supports Tottenham.

Interesting post Norway but I am not sure you wont be modded even here as what you have written could be libellous - now whether it is or not the owners of this site are unlikely to risk being sued.

I suspect everything you have posted is true and I certainly distrust the man and regard anyone who changes their name after bankruptcy with suspicion - I hope that anyone actually connected with WFC is as savvy as I think many of us here are

Since others have shown me the way perhaps my last thought on MR B should be :emoticon-0172-mooni

    Afternoon all,

Match about to start, but a quick thought. If, as we suspect this man has no real money of his own, then I cannot see his Lordship accepting a cheque that is made of rubber. ;)

I understand that the original article was not yours Norway but I believe the rules of libel are that anyone who repeats a libel themselves commits the same offence.

Now it may be that nothing said cannot be shown to be true but my point is just that if moderators were active here they themselves would pull the article as the host of a libel is also commiting libel - so they would perhaps fear for themselves. I am not a lawyer so am only stating what I think I know - any lawyers out there could correct me.

If as most of us suspect Mr B does not have the money himself he may still have been able to borrow from one of his contacts on the basis that if he makes a killing he can repay that loan to them - Ashcroft would get real dosh.

Our only real hope here is that the Watty Obs do their own digging and expose Mr B for whatever he is thus making hi unable to invest OR that Simpson who for all his fauklts is a true Watford fan persuades Ashcroft not to sell to Mr B.

OK - a draw - I would have accpeted that before kick off - especially as we are going to go on a good run now and win our next 5 games :)

Norway, it would seem that WFC Forums have pulled that themselves for the reason that Lenny mentioned. Possibly it would be good to keep a copy though.;)
