Another point nearer safety. This was always going to be difficult, Brown does get his teams fighting. Preston must be disappointed that they couldn't hang on to a 2-0 lead.

Well that was a surprising evening. Young COYH had great feedback from his teachers - he's doing better than he (we) thought. But the first half of the evening entertainment was truly dire. A point gained and, I suspect, a confidence building one in a strange way.

I will warn you now, the next home game sees all six of us at the Vic (we are normally me and the two older boys). The last match was Scunny; and I think the one before was Chelski at the Bridge.

Truly worried about that.:emoticon-0107-sweat

What I only managed to post that once :-(

Godan daginn til allra. Cappuccino, coffee, tea and donuts are on the bar.

Frothy cappuccinos for W_Y and al
coffees for COYH, Frenchie, Kev and rob
Strong coffees for Lenny and Sandy
Milky coffee for Yorkie
Strong black coffees for Bragi and Norway

I see a point won after three lost so the team is moving in the right direction but slowly. Good that the young players came to the rescue last night.

Well a point from every game left would see us easily to safety - but they are not all at home to the team at teh bottom of the league.

Still a good fight back from 2-0 down shows that the spirit is not lost. Let's hope for a surprise 3 points at Reading

only need half a point a game to hit 52 16 games remaining! 8 points req. great fightback and inspired substitutions by MM
was not happy at 0-2 was unhappier still the way we were playing in the first half! Still missing a midfield dynamo (left footed preferably) and a left back. If we could fill in the missing parts of the jigsaw and keep the rest together (current loanees excepted) it is the nucleus of a bloody good side!

Prefer it in here these days no arrogant ducks ,zero`s Hurdlers etc here! I dont see why he has to constantly have a pop at people! and attacking Frenchie I wont tolerate<grr>

Never fear for me Norway. Any man who thinks he is a duck has problems. The bloke is little more than a WUM and I reckon most of them have problems too. Most times I prefer to ignore them and let them talk to themselves.

I know you can snap back very well:laugh: I wont stay quiet when some muppet has a go at one of my friends;) Think this proves beyond all reasonable doubt that duck 0 hurdler etc are one and the same !!!

Nearly makes you want to become a moderator happily spending time duck hunting  It is a shame because when he behaves he does have some good stuff to say sometimes! <doh>

Certainly the arrogance of the bloke is similar to 0 etc. Like those before he enjoys taking on a whole group at a time and finishes up that he knows best.<doh>

I have to confess I just did a posting on 606 that I know will wind him up - silly of me really but sometimes you just do these things for the fun of it - like lighting the blue touch paper and standing back - he is never able to control his urge to respond with his put downs - I told him to grow up - but perhaps I should :)

Just read through the thread on 606 that set off Le Canard Fou - can't for the life of me understand the tangent he set off on, or why he did so - must have waddled into a fire ants nest

Hope we get some real info tomorrow - speculation is fun for a short while but this is too important and is dragging on too long

So do you think we will find out more re the takeover tomorrow BB?
Do you think we will have a proper lb this season

I really don't know! The whispers all point that way, but then, whispers aren't always correct. As que sera is very much my philosophy, I'm happy to wait and see.

As to the lb problem - I tend to think 'no, we won't'. If there were any of the required level available, I'm certain MM would have made a move by now. I don't pretend to know every player around, but working on the premise that the good ones are all at or near the top, I've trawled through appropriate club player lists & can't see any who fit the bill. We certainly don't need to end up with anymore untried youngsters - an more experienced head is a must.

Arsenal having a hard time against Barca - not good enough by the looks of it.

I think we may have some news very shortly. Earlier today the shares were shown as Mandatory, which I believe relates to the fact that the warrants were attached. This evening they have been shown as post- mandatory, which suggests that the warrants have been converted into shares. If that is right, very hesitant to say for certain, then I guess that the holders have sold their holdings.
