I got thinking this afternoon about McGinn - I wonder if a "bid" comes in for him after he gets back from the injury, or perhaps he might want to "reconsider" a contract extension offer?
 
Perfect time for that. Our Midfield is doing well and looking good, so we could over run them and shut them down like we did leeds!! Lets just hope we can score 1/2 more!
 
Morning all - quiet night in The Nest!

Frosty start in Bandit Country, up early as I could not sleep and was coughing and spluttering! Prepared lunch and now the tea is brewing to take up to Mrs W_Y who worked on her essay until very late and is sleeping in!
I'll see if The Bear is awake....

True, i remember the girls having a bit of a problem last year! But they're girls, so no real bother, i can handle drunk girls :)

Afternoon all. It seems the updates are working and no hiccups so far.

Its a day of wrapping for me today. Weather wise there is no change, a flurry of snow this morning but nothing settling.
 
Evening all

Visitors have gone back up north, so time for a restful evening of casserole, wine and TV. Caught a bit of TV coverage of what is the local derby down this way. Neither side looked particularly impressive considering how much they're supposed to be desperate to beat each other.
 
Ditto Theo, just finished a lovely Beef casserole with my own Rosemary Dumplings and mashed Swede...mmmm went down well with a nice Beaujolais. I think the local were more intent on beating up each other Theo!

We had a mash accompaniment to the stew too...celeriac..very comforting grub, washed down with Chilean Carmenere...

Ooooh I love celeriac. We had coq au vin but my dislike of mash meant we had potato wedges with it!

My saturday wishes partly came true, although watty didn't win, I was happy with the draw! But I was very happy with the other Blackpool result :) May have to go on youtube and drool some more! <party>
 
glad you're all having a peaceful evening <laugh> My houseful of teenagers is still a houseful of teenagers! lol...i've already been a counsellor for a girl in tears, that was a deja vue moment...did the same last year with a different girl! lol...it seems to be going well...so far..a soaking wet floor with beer all over it...but nothing else seems to be broken...yet! Still, going strong..after all, it's only midnight!
