.... and now losing 3-0, with a substitute sent off 90 seconds after coming on - for fighting, what else!! <rofl>

It was clearly too much for supporters of a few other teams <laugh> Never good to do it on the back of a lunchtime game just in case!

Isn't that how our club has been most of the time? maybe I am too youngish, at 31, to remember the best days....

Unless you suffer the bad days you do not truly appreciate the good ones. We have certainly had more bad seasons than good since I started to follow them, in fact I had suffered for ten years before Big Cliff arrived on the scene to give me a memory that will live with me for ever. That is football. 24 teams in the Championship and only three can have a good time. Some will have a disaster and get relegated, others will finish their season by March and just go through the motions. Having said that, everyone will get to next August and hope that this will be the year for their team. It happens every year, but that is football.

So true OFH, so true..it's crap sometimes, but the highs are so good you just have to hold onto them and hope another is just around the corner.

Morning all. Grey, breezy, rain threatening...no more cheering than yesterday's performance. You do become more sensitive to the ups and downs of football when you have an 80-mile drive home and one of your access roads is shut for 8 weeks. :steam:

Bright and sunny and a bit chilly in bandit country. Nice quiet day at home doing some maintenance.

A well-known ploy to distract the batsmen. Seems to have worked... ;)
