Morning all,

Need something stronger than coffee today...cold, sore throat, wheezy chest. Worse, Mrs H has had the same and keeps telling me how much better she feels now.

Morning all, bright, sunny day here. Warm in the sunshine, but feels autumnal out of it.

That is another water butt installed down the far field. Despite lots of rain in the early part of the year I almost ran out of water in the long hot spell we had. Just about room to install another one, but need to clear the area first.

I thought we were poor on Monday, but watching Spurs as they go behind against Hull is making me reconsider....

    Morning Dave, everyone.

It’s Halloween that over Americanised and very over commercialised day when kids come begging for sweets. What was wrong with good old "Penny for the Guy ".

Hopefully no many will come and I will get lots of sweets to eat. <nahnah>

Two years ago we bought lots of sweets and none of the little darlings came. I had to eat them as Mrs CM doesn't like sweets, and made myself feel sick on more than one of the following evenings. Will pretend not to be in tonight if anyone comes knocking.

The report on last night's Rugby League World Cup match between USA and Cook Islands made me chuckle. USA won 32-20 and are 'cock-a-hoop' over their maiden win. Population of USA = 316 million, population of Cook Islands - 14,411. You have to wonder what the reaction would have been to a defeat.

Morning all, bright and sunny again, but we had our first frost of the season last night. The roses are just coming into flower again for the third time this year and seem to have missed it.

Public holiday here tomorrow and the wine stocks getting rather depleted. Think I must go out for fresh supplies this morning.

Morning all from a damp West West London...we live right on the edge of our village, not many of the little darlings venture that far out and like Cornwall, I get to finish the sweets off!

I saw a great picture on Facebook..it was a Pumpkin that had been carved out and lit with a candel inside - it had been carved with **** Off...

The Cook Islands were so incensed by the loss that they have declared war on the US and are preparing to invade ... their plan of attack is to come from Mexico where an extra 14,411 will hardly be noticed amongst the monthly throng of mexicans surreptitiously entering the US ...

Look at it like this, there would only be about 15,000 americans who would play Rugby league without a full suit of body armour, so it's probably even stevens.
