Morning all - sunny morning up here but flipping cold, 2C at the moment. Think I'll stay snuggled under the blankets watching the cricket for a while...
Morning all from an overcast and damp bandit country - was up early to take daughter to the station as she is working on the early Prem game today. Time for some breakfast and then off to match.
Morning all, sunshine and showers here, but 16°C at the moment. Caught the second half of the Ipswich v Barnsley game last night. Punt the ball up field and hope seemed to be the orders of the day. Hoping for far better today.
Wet windy and cold here too. And this photo taken yesterday in the hills tells me it's going to be even colder soon.
Just watching the South Wales derby and I recalled hearing on the radio a few days ago that the replacement for Iain Moody has had his appointment put on hold due to visa issues - apparently he has no work permit for the UK! If Cardiff lose this game, I can see Malky getting the elbow
I know woody, but Malky brought Iain Moody in as they had worked together at Watford and his "sacking" over Malky's head will have pissed him off no end and his relationship with the new owner is supposed to be very poor with Malky refusing to take his notes on team selection during games. So if they had lost that would have left Cardiff in the danger zone and the risk of the owner giving him the boot and bringing in his own man - probably someone else his son went to school with. This is going to run and run - mark my words!
I know and appreciate your dislike of Malky and I understand it, but to us he will always be a legend, he helped us back up to the prem only to be discarded by Nigel Worthington, many of us have never forgiven Worthy for that! Regarding his tenure at Cardiff, I wouldn't be surprised to see him walk, hopefully then Cardiff will become the next Blackburn! It's the genuine Cardiff fans I feel sorry for!
I am pretty sure that I read last week that the owner had bought a player without telling Malky, and the first he knew about it was when the guy turned up for training. Not sure if Malky would walk before he was pushed. Probably wishes to protect his bank balance first, but cannot be happy.
Woody, I don't think I expressed any dislike of Malky. I understand why he left Watford, but I did not like the way he took key members of Watford staff with him, but for me that is all ancient history. In fact I have a lot of sympathy for him with the way he has been treated and the way things are turning out of Cardiff. I hope he does leave and gets a job at a decent club - maybe back at Narge if you dump Hughton? Now, Mr Integrity Judas Rodgers is a whole different story..

I don't think I expressed any dislike of Malky. I understood why he left Watford and had no issue with that, although the way he took key members of Watford staff did leave a bitter taste. I have every sympathy with him in the way he seems to be being treated at Cardiff and I hope he leaves them for a better run club - maybe he will get a job at Narge if you dump Hughton? Now Mr Integrity Judas Rodgers is a different story.
