I wouldn't wear jeans with turn ups and wearing shoes with no socks just makes your feet sweat. In saying that, I have never felt the need to tell somebody to cover their ankles though. Will they ban people from wearing shorts in the summer? Wearing jeans with turn ups that only go to above your ankle and not wearing socks looks gay though, as it would if they were wearing socks. The root of the problem isn't no socks, it is the jeans with turn ups that are too short.

Yeah was wondering about the summer thing,I wear trainer socks in the summer,no socks is a no-no for obvious reasons and thank you for your input Gok Mon:emoticon-0148-yes:

The trainer sock thing proves my point about it being the short jeans fault. If the rule was simply you need to wear socks, then people would just wear trainer socks with their shoes and stupid jeans, which I'm sure many do. Last year in Ibiza, Trev wore football socks with his sandals.

The pub can refuse to serve anyone (as long as they don't have a protected status) if they don't want to serve chavs who look like JD Sports has puked up all over them or c.unts who can't be arsed to wear socks. Turn ups and loafers, are you in Wham! ffs?

I like the comment "Sensible policies for a happier Scotland" Maybe the SNP could take note.
