No, not the obvious ones such as the wheel or the telephone but inventions we perhaps take for granted or don't get the credit they deserve

I will begin by choosing

Steps/stairs
Imagine life without them, a ladder to the 1st floor of your house wpuld be an uncomfortable situation..

Mayo. Could you imagine chips without it? Madness.

Pineapple cutter. There was literally no way to eat one before these were invented. Now a few quick twists and a push down on the cutter, you have perfect chunks.
