Exactly. And as it was carried on their back **** spilt out down their spine, it was ****ing horrible. When did we first see wheelie bins - mid to late 90s?
Hmm. Can't remember exactly but mid 90s seems too late. I reckon a gradual roll out: late 80s/early 90s. It changed round our way too, previously the bin man would have to come into our yard (we'd leave gate unlocked) then upon the dawn of the wheelie bin, we had to leave them outside (despite it being miles easier with wheels). With regard to the idea of putting wheels on a bin, didn't Dusty Bin have wheels?
.My mum used to do our hair with one of those ****ing things. Some days I went to school like Phil Oakey others I went like Moe out of the Three Stooges.
i meant the stuff you put round windows and baths rather than the stuff that comes out of a can at the rate of fresh lava!
A TV programme a few years ago decided that it was the Patent - the mechanism whereby inventors could personally profit from their invention. The programme/book was called, I think, The most powerful idea in the world.
Agreed with the mayo. Wish it was easier to get hold of the stuff they put on chips in Belgium and Holland. Triple cooked Belgian chips with mayo are unbeatable.
Paper, without which, books, magazines, newspapers, but also bills, exam papers, annoying advert flyers.
