I have not been following this thread until today not sure if The Sensational Alex Harvey band is on here but a few memories came flooding back and remembered they a couple of good intros The Faith Healer

SAHB without Alex really not the real deal. Who is the singer?
I totally agree I was looking at a vid on YouTube with the AH and went back and uploaded the wrong one, my apologies.
To be honest I have heard never that version until now, I never followed the band after his death.

No need to apologise, I only commented because I love SAHB and was excited to click on the vid....

you must be significantly younger than me, I remember them from the early seventies. They were like a Weimar era Berlin cabaret disguised as a rock band. Alex inhabited a different character for every song.
 
Tracked this thread down as I’ve been listening to way too much Yellow Magic Orchestra over the last couple of weeks, and I’m addicted to this song, especially the intro. The opening drum sound is so good, even on YouTube, that I find it hard to believe that it was live and from a very long time ago.

Not sure how well known YMO are over here, but they are credited with a big influence on lots of different music genres. All were (only one of the three still alive) fantastic musicians who were playing around with technology.
