All of this is nit-picking anyway. We all agree Bates is a cnut, i don't think there's anyone left who believes the lying old bar steward, but Grayson has been able to sign lots of people. He has organised the team, set out how they play, is responsible for reacting to being out-thought on the pitch. The bottom line is that the defence lets in the most goals in the Championship, we've been outplayed by all of the decent teams - except West Ham - and that the team today is a shambles. Frankly, Grayson deserved to go, but should have been sacked at the end of December. Waiting until the transfer window was shut was stupid.
This came as a shock...I'm in two minds about it, firstly I had doubts whether Grayson was the man to take us to the EPL and even if he did, whether we'd be successful there. Some posters have suggested in the past that Bates doesn't care about Leeds and is quite content to see us sit in the championship forever or until a billionaire hands him an offer he can't refuse, I have always rejected that idea - why else would he fire managers for not bringing success? Warnock has a touch of Howard Wilkinson about him but only a touch - has anyone seen the YouTube footage of his so called half time team talks? It's the SAF hairdryer minus the intelligence (if you can imagine that). This is the wrong move at the wrong time...Grayson working on a limited budget deserved to get the rest of the season to get us up. I really, really don't want Warnock.

Agreed but then his scatter gun approach to signing defenders in the hope that they could defend was wearing thin. If he had saved the O'Dea, Bruce and even Mikka and Forssell money then he could have went in for a decent CB... I always felt Grayson was the right man for the job at this moment in time, that isn't to say I didn't think he would get us promoted and I do think to get us into the premier we will need a new manager and a NEW CHAIRMAN... I do pity any manager who can come in and work wonders with the financial restraint and inherited players and who will be expected to get us into the playoffs... I will however expect them to get shot of some of the dead wood and start building a team we can be proud of and extinguish these home thrashings.

Do you really believe that Bates cares about this club ffs He sacked Grayson for his on senile reasons, he disrespects the supporters and anyone else who dares criticise him. He wastes money on other projects around the ground. If he really cared and wanted to get out of this league, he'd have invested in better players and not sacked a manager the day after the transfer window shut. He'll probably use Redfern for the rest of the season to save money.
Howya TC, I'm absolutely fecking pissed off regarding Leeds United. I'm meant to be planning a trip against the hammers and forest in march with my youngest and I've got a loan to do it. When Bates comes out with the statement we are building a club first and and a team next you know that as a club we have no chance of promotion
One of the emails Adam Pope read out on Radio Leeds summed it up perfectly for me: "We've already got a club. It's been there for 90 years. Now build us the team we need to get promoted."
I sooo tired of Bates I could throw up. I will for the remaining 18 games expect and demand nothing less than victory in every single ****ing one of them! A drop of even 1 point will make my go ballistic I’m so ****ing mad at Bates right now that I can ****ing taste it!!!!
