I don't normally watch it, but I forgot to mention a very good friend of mine, Tony Rudd was on Britain's Got Talent last night. Known him for over 30 years and he is one of the funniest people I ever met :) He got through to the next round...here's hoping he gets to the live semi finals :)

I hope so too, I know they all have a story....

I met him in the late 80s, when he was a comedy impressionist doing the rounds. I went to a few of his gigs, but there was no BGT or X factor in those days. We have had numerous hilarious nights out over the years - as you saw from his act he has this nack of making everyday inanimate objects into a joke/impression. I hope he makes it big as I can have a claim to fame that he went out with one of my ex-girlfriend just after me too :)

Seen him a quite few times over the last few years (but not enough...life gets in the way), and he still does Panto locally, but now works full time in a disabled school and does community radio. When I worked in an American Bar & Restaurant many moons ago, we got him to do the radio commercial as Robin Williams - really good :)

He's been married for about 25 years too to an ex dancer (real one not pole dancer lol) so they are/were both in the business and she is a lovely lady.

I loved the way he ended with the "It was me all the time" - that was his catchphrase from way back when :)
