That was a tough watch. Only one blue in singles. Clearly the Americans are uncomfortable playing as a team/pair and only play well playing for themselves. Best team won.

He's whining about the "envelope rule" about unfit players having a named opponent drop out and share the point when they can't play. He wants it scrapped, despite it being in for years and the USA benefitting from it in 1991when they won.
Typical sore loser, "it's my ball and I'm not playing unless I win" attitude. People like Jack Nicklaus, Tom Watson and Paul Azinger must be embarrassed by him.
