Been a great 2 days golf. Every time they've had a sniff of a chance we've shut the door on them. Tremendous performance by Sir Luke and his team.

Plenty of feistiness today as well. American crowd had **** all to shout about, so resorted to personal abuse, which was way beyond the levels of acceptability. US Caddies walking in front of players as they were lining up a shot too. Classless!

Classless sums up Americans exactly...big gobs, little between the ears and nowt to back up they're idea that everyone loves America.....completely classless society imo.

Watching the build up to the singles and all these yanks coming out saying how honoured they are to play for their country in the Ryder Cup.

That's probably why they came out and said they wanted paying for it! Bunch of ****ing hypocrites
Watched a bit of Sunday Supplement this morning and Martin Samuel was on about a time when he interviewed Colin Montgomery. Monty said playing on the US PGA tour was a very lonely place, no crack between the players. You just play your round and back to the hotel, he said you just walked past loads of empty room service trays outside the hotel rooms and then play the next round. Said its completely different on the European circuit in terms of players getting on with each other.

I suppose it's a different mentality in America. You have to be better than everyone else in your head no matter what so I doubt that'll allow you to be mates with anyone
