Played there a few times.. a few good holes, but I am not a great fan. Good Italian just about opposite it.
Loved playing Castle Eden, great course....The North East has some outstanding courses, Apart from Castle Eden, Matfen Hall, Ramside, Slaley Hall, Wynyard, and if you travel a bit further north, Goswick near Berwick is a great track.....Really miss playing these courses.
Goswick, I like a lot..Matfen also. Slaley has gone fownhill a bit, several changes if ownership. Dunstanborough is worth a visit.
This is my local course. https://www.willungagolf.com.au/The-Course/Course-layout just noticed the yardages they're quoting. They must be the social tees as most are quite a bit longer
What a great course, lucky sod.... This is my club in Abu Dhabi, been a member here for a while....brutally hot right now, but we still play. https://troonabudhabi.com/saadiyat-beach-golf-club/
Nice courses chaps.... here's mine, if anyone is in the Big Smoke & fancies a round. More links than Parkland the way it plays. Becsuse of the location & deer they cannot cut the long grass in the rough. Its grown to about chest height on the tough holes. If you sin't straight your score aint great. Best tound at the club champs - and lots of low single players - was 78! https://www.hamptoncourtgolf.co.uk/golf/the-course/
Knew a lad who's first shot hit a tree then dented the captains car in the carpark. If that helps? He'd bought all the clubs, bag and shoes
I'm keeping my eye on it rather than watch if all but if still close at 11.00pm or so I'll probably watch the end. It's a late one being on the west coast.
Don't think I've ever seen DeChambeau shouting fore despite regularly blasting it into crowds. Don't think he gives a ****. I know what the P on his hat stands for.
Too late for me to watch live. I've played golf 4 days in a row and was knackered. Still after having to drop out despite being 6 shots in the lead in his last competition...karma that Rahm won.
Really pleased that Rahm won this. I was gutted for him at the PGA, so this is well deserved. First of many I hope and in great form for the Ryder Cup
The Open starts this week..... Who do you fancy to lift the Claret Jug ? I'll go for Oosthuizen...hitting a bit of form and brought up on links style courses in South Africa.
