I watched the game in a bar in Elviria, mainly Liverpool lads, 1 Everton.

They all reckoned it was goal of the season on day 1, i tried to remain aloof, as if it's par for the course for us, haha.

Magnificent, they showed about 20 replays, and it got better every time.

Who played the ball in, i screamed 'great ball' then i was off, never actually got to see who it was!

Really?

He does that now and again don't he, if he gets the consistency...

Was really surprised he played , personally, never even considered him.

He does whip his fair share of crosses in but many, as people have said struggle to beat the 1st man. An area they've obviously had him working on.

Putting Larsson's goal to one side for a sec, I was well impressed with his set pieces today. Without a doubt Sunderland have struggled like mad in this area recently and he could well be a little gem in that department. That free kick he took towards the end of the 1st half that curled through everyone was sheer class and was screaming out for someone to have gambled on it and bury it. Many more of them to come I hope!

Yeah great goal, I liked the fact he dropped to the back of the box, as 99% of the time thats where the ball ends up.
I've noticed Rooney is doing that now at ManU set pieces too.
Even watching other teams play I scream at the screen for someone to drop round the back.

100%, we knew anyway, but was great to actually see it in the flesh.

I was convinced he was gonna score the free kick shortly after the equalizer, was genuinely shocked when he skied it!
