It will be engineered for the US to win it on a technicality just so Trump can fondle the trophy a bit whilst declaring the world cup "the bestest ever" and that it should be held in the US permanently as they are so good at it...
If the World Cup is won by a team from any part of North or South America, Trump will claim it as his victory, and try to annexe the winning country as the 51st state

That was a perfect example of “stick with on-field decision”

No obvious error but could understand if ref gives it .


Pundits can’t complain about VAR re-refereeing too often then also complain when it doesn’t get involved fpr a 50/50 decision
 
They were grabbing each other TBF. I'm 60-40 in favour of a penalty but nowhere near clear and obvious enough for VAR to intervene.

I also think if that’s given against England in a few weeks, we’re bemoaning how their player got in front then slowed down to get bundled over
