Often slice them into triangles, sprinkle on some lime juice and paprika and shove in oven for 5-10 mins and have as a side to chilli. Nice alternative to rice (or alongside if not worried about double carbs) and add good texture.

just did this but i think i went a wee bit over on the time at 10mins. Hadn't limes etiehr so was cheeky and went for salt and vinegar effort using rice vinegar and paprika and salt.

Still pretty good with a salsa pot we had.

right tomorrows dinner then.

Beef casserole, have steaks sitting about and thought this might be a good idea in slow cooker.

I go rustic with veggies so quartered onions, prob 2.
a few carots, probabaly chucky cut rounds.
Mushrooms, just the common sort nothing fancy.
Tomato puree
Beef stock and i always mix in a half vegtable stock.
stock is usually salty enough for me but a bit of pepper
I also add potatoes into the thinkg just cos i can

i don't have any bayleaf
Should i add red wine to it?

anything else?

Yorkshires...... we tried to make some once but failed. Aunt bessies is is!
Thats from a packet mate.

Some people are freakishly obsessive about yorkshires, i dont do roast dinners cos its probably the most boring meal ever invented so i only have em like that in stew.

did them yesterday. Super easy.

For 4 Yorkies. 66 gram flower. 1 egg. 100ml milk. Mix it, stick in fridge for few hours.

if you’ve got muffin tray, they are perfect. Small bit of oil in the 4 corner ones, put in oven for 15 min to heat up, pour in the mixture evenly, into oven for 20-25 mins. They look proper rustic but taste great.
